Prenatal Program Coordinator

Title:  Prenatal Program Coordinator

Location:  Troy, NY

Salary:  $16.00 / hour

CEO has an opening for a full-time Prenatal Program Coordinator for our Babies in Waiting Program.

Responsibilities:  The Prenatal Program Coordinator will be responsible to provide case management services to 23 pregnant women.  Responsibilities include recruiting and enrolling participants for the program; conducting home visits for each client; providing pre- and post-natal information to clients, as well as other fetal development resources; and planning and conducting monthly socializations for clients.  This position is 40 hours per week.

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Health, or a related field and experience working with pregnant and parenting moms.  Knowledge of community resources, case management experience, and excellent communication skills required.   A clean driver’s license and daily access to a vehicle is also required.

Preferred:  LPN certification and experience associated with prenatal care preferred.  Bilingual a plus!

Teacher Assistant

Title: Teacher Assistant – September openings
Locations: Multiple locations
Salary: $10.00 / hour

Responsibilities: Assist teacher with classroom management. Promote children’s development and learning through developmentally appropriate curriculum. Assist in the completion of required classroom paperwork. Use positive guidance strategies to teach, encourage, and redirect inappropriate classroom behavior.
Qualifications: High School diploma or GED and experience working with young children required. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Toddler Teacher

Title:  Toddler Teachers

Location: Troy, NY

Salary: $12.00 – $15.00 / hour

CEO has an openings for Toddler Teachers at our Lansingburgh and Troy Family Resource Centers.

Responsibilities:  Responsible to plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities, work collaboratively with a teacher assistant, center staff and service providers.

 Qualifications: AAS or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Infant/Toddler CDA required. Must possess knowledge of Infant/Toddler child development and family interaction. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license for home visits required.

SUBSTITUTE Teacher Assistant

Title:  Substitute Teacher Assistant

Location:  All Rensselaer County CEO facility locations

Salary:  $9.00 / hour

Classification:  Non-Exempt

Responsibilities:  Work on an on-call basis.  Assist teachers with classroom management in infant, toddler and preschool setting.

Qualifications:  High School diploma or GED and previous experience working with children.  Must be at least 18 years of age.

Custodian Openings

Title: Custodian Openings

CEO has an openings for several Custodian openings, at our various facilities located in Rensselaer County.

Responsibilities: Responsible for maintaining the internal and external cleanliness of CEO’s facilities. Responsibilities include sweeping/vacuuming, mopping; garbage removal; performing minor maintenance requests as requested; assisting in performing outside maintenance and landscaping as needed, to include snow removal and lawn care; may assist with special projects as needed, to include carpet cleaning, buffing/waxing floors and painting.

 Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED and previous experience in a custodial position or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Valid driver’s license required.
