Crew Member (Healthy Homes Program)

Title:  Crew Member

Location:  Troy, NY

Salary:  $13.50 / hour

Classification:  Non-Exempt

CEO has an opening for a full-time Crew Member for our Healthy Homes Program.

Responsibilities:  Installation of energy efficient retrofits from a designated work scope.  Installation of insulation materials, spray foam and air sealing measures.  Ability to lift and load construction materials.  Working knowledge of basic carpentry skills and use of hand tools.  Ability to take direction and work independently.

Qualifications:  High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years working in residential construction and a clean NYS Driver’s license.

Crew Chief (Healthy Homes Program)

Title:  Crew Chief

Location:  Troy, NY

Salary:  $15.00 / hour

Classification:  Non-Exempt

CEO has an opening for a full-time Crew Chief for our Healthy Homes Program.

Responsibilities:  Installation of prescribed energy efficient retrofits and providing daily supervision of the energy services crew members.  Strong organizational skills required to document all aspects of a project, such as the materials utilized and the monitoring of equipment.  Ability to problem solve issues that may arise, ultimately ensuring the proper completion of work scopes.

Candidate will be required to obtain the following certifications within the first year of employment:  BPI – Building Analysts, BPI – Envelope Professional, 30-hour OSHA course; NYS Manufactured Housing Mechanic, EPA – Lead Paint Certification and RRP – Renovation, Repair and Paint.

Qualifications:  5+ years of residential construction experience (i.e. installing windows, doors and finish work).  Knowledge of the use and maintenance of hand tools.  Two years supervisory experience and ability to travel within the first year to complete certification courses.  Clean NYS Driver’s license required.  BPI certification a plus.

SUBSTITUTE Teacher Assistant

Title:  Substitute Teacher Assistant

Location:  All Rensselaer County CEO facility locations

Salary:  $8.75 / hour

Classification:  Non-Exempt

Responsibilities:  Work on an on-call basis.  Assist teachers with classroom management in infant, toddler and preschool setting.

Qualifications:  High School diploma or GED and previous experience working with children.  Must be at least 18 years of age.
