CEO’s WIC Vendor Management Agency (VMA) oversees stores that accept WIC vouchers. The program covers 20 counties across eastern New York State. VMA makes sure that approved stores stock enough WIC-approved goods at reasonable prices and that their employees are well-trained on how to take WIC vouchers.
VMA also reviews new vendor requests. VMA’s goal is to increase the number of stores in areas where the need for WIC participant access has been identified.
