Tripartite Board

CEO is a Community Action Agency with a tripartite Board composition. Tripartite means that three valuable sectors of the community are represented on the Board of Directors. Each board member is nominated to one of the following sectors based on their qualifications or background. The first is the Consumer sector, representatives who are eligible for CEO’s services or represent low-income residents in the work they do. The second is the Public sector, representatives who are elected or appointed officials in the community. The third is the Private sector, representatives from a variety of professions or backgrounds who are looking for opportunities to make a difference in the lives of people impacted by poverty. These three sectors work together as a full board in the best interest of community residents by helping to fulfill CEO’s Mission.
